Establishment
After 15 years of exploring the canyons and rivers of France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Austria or India or Nepal, I decide to put my suitcases in Serre Chevalier, in the Hautes Alpes, true paradise for mountain lovers and outdoor sports.

I created Canyon River Trip in 2015 to share my passion for canyoning and whitewater sports.
State graduated from Canoe-Kayak, Canyoning, Skiing and Snowboarding, I am a true enthusiast in pedagogy and didactics. I created Canyon River Trip with the aim of offering quality services, supervised by specialists with an active pedagogy consisting of “learning to do” rather than “getting done”.
Today we know how to adapt to each group. With family, friends, holiday colony or even Enterprise Committee we will be able to meet your expectations.
We propose 4 levels in each activity: “Discovery”, “Sport”, “Adrenaline” and “Adventure”. This makes it possible to propose varied routes, more or less difficult, adapted to the level and desires of each.

Our philosophy in 3 words

Moments of sharing and exchange to teach you the canyoning,rafting or kayaking and make you discover the Hautes Alpes and other destinations in France and Europe differently. “Explore, Share and Enjoy” are three words that reflect our state of mind very well.
Explore
We practice and supervise canyoning, rafting, kayaking and other whitewater sports in order to discover the territories in depth. Far from the classic tourist trails, we seek the treasures that nature hides from us. Over time, the water has made its way, tirelessly, digging and sculpting the rock to offer us beautiful gorges and canyons that sometimes prove to be true jewels. Canyoning, rafting, kayaking, and other whitewater sports are often the only way to fully discover these places where time takes on another dimension. Life is short and we have chosen to fill our own by always exploring the Nature of these places a little more, in search of these basins that are transformed into an Olympic pool without bottom, of these waterfalls that change into giant toboggan, of these rapids that are perfectly chained in breathtaking scenery.

We will make you discover the joys of a river descent adapted to your level and your will of adrenaline. Don’t take yourself too seriously, keeping a little bit of crazy while remaining professional reflects our desire to have fun together without neglecting your safety.
Our base
The Canyon River Trip base is located at the Chalet de la patinoire at La Salle Les Alpes. We are in the heart of the Serre Chevalier valley, 10 minutes drive from Briançon.
We have spacious rooms with toilets and changing rooms to welcome you in the best conditions.
The place brings together different service providers operating on the same quality charter. Small groups, high-end equipment and specialist and passionate instructors !!! You will find Canyoning, Rafting, Mountain bike and Segway on the same site
In addition, we are an integral part of the Base de Loisirs du lac du Pontillas. You’ll find everything you need to play, eat and relax with family or friends.
Your equipement
We provide you all the equipment to discover our activities. Just bring a bathing suit (or shorts) and a pair of sneakers, we provide you with the rest
We are in a mountainous region with glaciers and peaks more than 4000m high.
As a result, the water flowing into our canyons and rivers remains cold all year round. Quality equipment is needed to fully enjoy your Canyoning, Rafting or Kayak exit.
We have therefore chosen to provide you with high-end neoprene wet-suit, developed by specialists of our activities : Seland.
We have 3 models of 5mm thick neoprene wet-suit for the Canyoning so that we can perfectly adapt to your size :
- Wet-suit Zalama.
- Wet-suit Mulhacen, specially designed for the girls.
- Wet-suit Rio Verde, specially designed for kids.
We will also give you 2 or 3 mm neoprene socks to keep your feet warm throughout the activity.
For rafting and kayak, we provide you with complete neoprene equipment. That is with jacket, long-john and neoprene socks 3 mm.
Your comfort is essential for us so that you can make the most of your outing. We are the only ones to provide you with equipment of this level in comparison with our competitors.
The equipment needed for the activities (harnesses, helmets, ropes, rafts, paddles, life jackets, etc.) is in good condition and in good order with regular checks and maintenance (up-to-date PPE workbook).
