The Fournel Canyon
It is one of the famous canyoning routes of the Hautes Alpes because it is accessible to all.
From 8 years old (or even 6 or 7 years old for the most sporty children) to 88 years old, this canyon near the Argentière la Bessée is a real wonder to explore without hesitation.
Just 20 minutes from Briançon and Serre Chevalier, this half-day Canyoning trip will allow you to discover the different facets of the canyoning activity: walking, swimming, jumping (up to 5-6m high if you wish), slides, and 1-2 small abseils not exceeding 10m.
Let yourself be tempted by this canyoning course for young and old to discover a magnificent limestone gorge otherwise inaccessible. The water is translucent and you will want to play in the basins and slides. You will be equipped with a high-end neoprene wet-suit in order to fully enjoy the pleasures of this sport without competition despite the freshness of the Hautes Alpes water.
Your Canyoning guide will teach you how to take full advantage of this environment by teaching you the basics of this activity and by introducing you a little more to the preserved nature of these places. Feel free to come and share a unique experience just a stone’s throw from the silver mines of Argentière la Bessée. Sensations and fun guaranteed so that your holidays on Serre Chevalier and Briançon become unforgettable.
